Jerry Lorenzo

Treasurer

Jerry Lorenzo Manuel is an American fashion designer and the founder of Fear of God, a brand known for its clean, refined style and attention to detail. He grew up moving across the U.S. as his father played professional baseball, which gave him a broad view of American culture.

Time spent with his mother in vintage shops also shaped his appreciation for heritage and style. These experiences, along with his faith-filled upbringing, influenced the values and perspective that guide his work today.

Although he first pursued sports, earning a degree from Florida A&M and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago, Lorenzo turned to fashion and started Fear of God in 2013. The brand quickly became recognized for its unique take on American identity and culture.

Since then, Lorenzo has been honored for his influence, including recognition from the Fashion Scholarship Fund and The Wall Street Journal. Highlights of his career include Fear of God’s 2023 show at the Hollywood Bowl and its presence at the 2025 Met Gala.
